Preorder & Cancellation.
Terms for every product marked as preorder, with clear payment and cancellation details.
1. What a preorder is
These terms apply to any product marked as preorder. A preorder reserves your place in an upcoming production or fulfilment batch, and orders are handled in the order they're paid.
2. Payment
Presale pricing is paid in full at checkout in AUD. There is no deposit, no balance due later, and no price increase once your order is placed — even if the batch price moves.
3. Cancel before work starts — refunded in full
Change your mind before work on your preorder starts and we'll refund the entire order. The only amount we can't return is the payment processing fee our payment provider charges on the original transaction and keeps when a refund is issued. Everything else, including shipping, goes back to your original payment method.
4. Once work has started
After work on your preorder has started, the order can no longer be cancelled because parts or stock have been allocated to it. The preorder remains transferable: give us the new owner's details in writing and we'll move the order across at no cost.
5. Refund timing
Approved cancellation refunds are issued within 3 business days of your request. Your bank may take a further 2–5 business days to show the funds.
6. Custom paint and colour-matched finishes
Where offered, colour-matched and custom paint-code options are prepared for your order specifically. Once the paint has been mixed, that portion of the order can't be refunded, even if other work hasn't started.
7. Delays
Preorders are fulfilled in the order they are placed. If your batch is delayed, we'll email you with a revised timeline, and you may cancel for a full refund less the payment processing fee at that point.
8. Faulty products and your consumer rights
Nothing on this page limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund regardless of the preorder terms above.
9. How to cancel
Email ventrocustoms@gmail.com with your order reference and we'll confirm within one business day whether work on your preorder has started and process the request from there.
